Park Master Plan
The Town of Halton Hills retained DNA to develop a comprehensive master plan for a community sports park in Georgetown. Project goals included the functional integration of several major programmatic elements including a recreational community centre, soccer and baseball fields, and a major playground and community gathering area. The plan also addressed significant park drainage issues associated with the channelization of the Sixteen Mile Creek in the park’s northeast corner.
Contract administration services were provided for the implementation of phase 1 which included all of the sports fields. Over a period of 5 years, the Town implemented the balance of the recreation centre, pool and parking facilities in accordance with the master plan.
