Hockley Valley Residence
Situated on a 50 acre site at the south rim of the Hockley Valley, the large post and beam buildings positioning had to take advantage of the best possible views while not impeding the views scrutinized by the NEC. In addition, the sitting of a small wind turbine was part of the approval process and was subject to public consultation and a NEC hearing before approval was granted.
This spectacular building by Normerica Post and Beam was featured in numerous publications following its completion in 2009.
