Bronte Creek Phase 2

Valley Naturalization

As part of the multi-phased residential development of Bronte Creek, we provided a detailed ecological restoration plan for the 14 Mile Creek Valley that bisects the new development. A conceptual master plan was developed with the goal of locating target treatment areas of the valley and assigning specific categories of plant materials to each zone based on suitability. A palette of native plant materials including shrubs, saplings, seedlings, and mature trees was used to begin regeneration of healthy plant communities. Due to the recreational opportunities that exist within the valley, and the valley’s current use as a golf course, continuous open meadow zones have been maintained.
